These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and engagement with customercare's TV repair and installation services. Please read them carefully.
These terms apply to all customers who book a TV repair or installation service with customercare, whether through our website, phone, or WhatsApp. They are designed to be clear and fair — protecting both you as a customer and our team of technicians.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (customercare.ind.in) or engaging our TV repair and installation services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and any other persons who use our services in any capacity. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Services Offered
customercare provides the following services:
- Doorstep TV Repair: Diagnosis and repair of LED, QLED, OLED, and Smart TVs at your premises
- Television Installation: Wall mounting, cable management, and Smart TV configuration
- Software & Firmware Repair: Resolution of operating system errors, app failures, and firmware issues
- Spare Parts Replacement: Replacement of genuine OEM components including panels, boards, and backlights
- Post-Repair Support: Limited follow-up support for completed repairs
Our services are currently available across Kolkata, Howrah, and Hooghly districts in West Bengal, India. We reserve the right to decline a service request at our discretion.
Service Booking and Confirmation
When you submit a service request through our website, via phone, or via WhatsApp:
- A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive written or verbal acknowledgement from our team
- We will coordinate a technician visit within the agreed timeframe, usually within the same day or the next business day
- You are responsible for ensuring the television and premises are accessible at the scheduled time
- If you need to reschedule or cancel, please inform us at least 2 hours before the scheduled visit
- Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in refusal of future service requests
We aim to provide accurate arrival time estimates but cannot guarantee specific visit times due to operational constraints.
Diagnosis and Estimates
Our standard process is:
- Initial Inspection: Our technician will inspect the television at your premises to identify the fault
- Written Estimate: A repair estimate including part costs and labour charges will be provided before any work begins
- Customer Approval: We will not proceed with any repair without your explicit approval of the estimate
- Diagnosis Charge: A minimal visit and diagnosis fee applies regardless of whether you proceed with the repair. This fee will be communicated before the visit if applicable
You are not obligated to proceed with the repair after receiving the estimate.
Pricing and Payment
- Repair charges include labour costs and spare parts (where applicable)
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Payment is due upon completion of the repair at your premises
- We accept cash and common digital payment methods (UPI, bank transfer)
- Invoices or receipts will be provided upon request
- Prices quoted at the time of estimate are valid for that visit only and may change if the fault diagnosis changes during repair
We do not charge in advance for standard repair visits. Any exceptions will be communicated clearly before the service begins.
Warranty on Repairs
We offer a limited warranty on our repair work as follows:
- Labour Warranty: Repair workmanship is covered for 30 days from the date of service
- Parts Warranty: Genuine OEM replacement parts carry the manufacturer's standard warranty (typically 90 days for panel components and 30 days for boards)
- Software Fixes: Software and firmware repairs are covered for 15 days
- Physical damage caused after the repair visit
- Damage caused by power surges, voltage fluctuations, or improper use
- Issues unrelated to the original repair
- Repairs attempted by any other technician after our service
To claim warranty service, contact us within the warranty period with your original booking details.
Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the television model, fault symptoms, and your location
- Ensure the television is accessible and in a safe working environment for the technician
- Not misrepresent faults or prior repair history
- Treat our technicians with courtesy and respect
- Not request our technicians to perform tasks outside the agreed scope of repair without a separate agreement
- Inform us of any pre-existing conditions (e.g. flood damage, prior third-party repair) that may affect the repair outcome
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a visit if our technician's safety or dignity is compromised.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
- customercare's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss including loss of data stored on a Smart TV, loss of saved applications or settings, or business losses
- We are not responsible for pre-existing faults unrelated to the repair undertaken
- We will not be held liable for delays caused by unavailability of genuine spare parts outside our control
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Indian consumer protection law.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, design, and code — is the property of customercare or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written permission.
You may share links to our website pages freely for non-commercial purposes.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, specifically the state of West Bengal.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Howrah, West Bengal.
For consumer complaints related to our services, you may also approach the appropriate Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
